Match report from today’s U18’s league cup game by Tom Willoughby.
Another strong win for the mighty red and black u18s.
Welcoming local rivals Westbury to Weymouth street for our 2nd leg quarter-final of the league cup.
With a 4-0 advantage from the first leg, we knew we still had to work hard to keep our league record of being unbeaten. It was a tough game on a churned up Weymouth street pitch, but we were the dominant side and didn’t really have much pressure put on us in the first half going 2-0 into half time. With a team talk, we went back out a little more positive and soon found our feet and controlled the game scoring 3 more goals to make it 5-0 final score and 9-0 on aggregate.
The red and blacks now wait to find out who they play in the semifinals.
Man of the match Roy Bakudie.
